Paying for your order

Every Doodlecrest order is paid in full at checkout, including shipping. Because each item is printed for you individually, we need payment confirmed before production can begin.

Accepted payment methods

Checkout accepts major credit and debit cards and the digital wallets offered by our payment providers. The exact options shown depend on your country and device — you will see the full list on the payment step before you confirm.

Currency

All prices on this site are displayed and charged in US dollars (USD). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. That fee comes from your bank, not from us.

How your details are handled

Card data is entered directly into our payment provider’s encrypted form. Doodlecrest never sees or stores your full card number, expiry date or security code. Our checkout runs over an SSL-encrypted connection on every page.

When you are charged

The full amount is authorised and captured at the moment you place the order. You will receive an email confirmation with your order number straight away — if it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before contacting us.

Failed or declined payments

A declined payment usually means a mismatch between the billing address you entered and the one your bank holds, or a security block on an international transaction. Nothing is charged and no order is created. Try again with the correct billing details, or use a different card.

Pending charges

If a payment fails you may still briefly see a pending authorisation on your statement. Banks release these automatically, normally within 3–7 business days.

Taxes and duties

Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout. Import duties and VAT on international orders are charged separately by your own customs authority and are not collected by us. See our Shipping Information page for detail.

Fraud prevention

Orders are screened automatically for signs of fraud. Occasionally we may ask for confirmation of identity or billing details before releasing an order to production, and we reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we cannot verify.
